Celebrating Women & Nature

ONLINE LIFE DRAWING VIA ZOOM

Online life drawing with two models to coincide with International Women’s Day. This event is presented by Evija Laivina, who set up Art Circle Inverness in November 2019 and was holding regular life drawing sessions until the Covid-19 pandemic hit.

 

Modelling for us will be Fadzai Mwakutuya, who is living in the Highlands but originally from Zimbabwe and another model tbc.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the Zoom meeting.

We are aware that Zoom meetings and working from a screen takes a lot of energy but this is a relaxed session and will include rest breaks. Please bring any the materials you'd like to work with. 

 

More about Evija Laivina
Evija Laivina was born in Latvia (1978). She started work with photography in 2007 and after moving to live in Scotland in 2009, she decided to study Contemporary Art and Contextualised Practice at the University of Highlands and Islands. Laivina graduated in 2019 with a BA Hons and works with various mediums - painting, drawing, sculpture, installation and photography. She currently works from her studio in Inverness Creative Academy.


Circus Artspace are assisting Art Circle Inverness with the online technical support and promotion of this event.
